Claudia studied Nutrition at King’s College London. She studied her Masters in Human Nutrition at the University of Guadalajara, where she has worked for the last 18 years as a full-time lecturer in Nutrition. She is a registered dietician by the “Colegio Mexicano de Nutriólogos, A.C.”. She was the first coordinator of the degree in Nutrition at the Health Sciences University Centre of the University of Guadalajara in 1997.
Currently she is finishing her PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London (UCL) at the Health Behaviour Research Centre (HBRC), funded by the “Programa de Desarrollo Profesional Docente” (PRODEP) of the Education Ministry of Mexico.
Her research project involves studying appetitive traits in relation to weight and weight management in adults.
